About the role
We are looking to expand our pool of freelance content editors. This role involves writing and editing live football match blogs on UEFA.com and UEFA’s competition apps.
Key responsibilities
- Running live minute-by-minute coverage during UEFA men's and women's club and international competition matches
- Writing live text commentary and sub-editing posts from reporters at the stadiums
- Inserting images, graphics, videos, polls and sponsored content
- Producing punchy editorial copy for match reports
Required skills and experience
- Writing and sub-editing experience in live sport blogging
- Using CMS and graphics software
- Excellent written English and adaptability to house style
- Accuracy and attention to detail under pressure
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Great knowledge of European football
